Scope of Work: Alliance provided project management, engineering, design, procurement assistance, and technical construction support as the lead design firm for this expansion project.
Project Description: Alliance designed a plant expansion, involving the installation of one 27,000 hp Siemens/solar electric motor driven centrifugal compressor, plus equipment. This compressor was installed to compress 250 MMscfd of residue gas from approximately 410 psig to 1,648 psig.
This project also involved the installation of gas processing equipment, described in more detail on the Chipeta Train II Processing and Production page.
