Bravo Dome Expansion
Occidental Permian
Project Description – The project was an expansion of an existing compressor station's infrastructure systems, including the addition of gathering lines, trunk line, and a booster compression facility installation in order to increase production rates to 400 MMscfd.
The modifications included the installation of approximately 25 miles of large diameter pipe (24”-30”) and 70 miles of fiberglass pipe ranging from 4” to 14” in size. Two 11,000 HP electric drive centrifugal compressors with variable speed drives were installed to boost compression. This leg gathers CO2 from new developments in the west side of the field and feeds directly to the suction scrubber of the three 6,000 HP reciprocating compressor units that had been previously installed.
Scope of Work – Alliance provided project management support, engineering, design, drafting, survey, mapping, procurement, and construction management support as required for development of all gathering pipelines, lateral valves, buildings, pipe, valves, fittings and other utilities.
