Alliance Engineering Opens Office in Marcellus Region

Houston, July 8, 2010 – Wood Group’s Alliance Engineering has opened an office in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania to service the Marcellus shale and has hired Jim Albitz as its general manager to run this office.

In his new role Jim will be responsible for growing the office as Alliance expands its business in the Marcellus shale region and other areas. Jim has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry with extensive experience in project management, engineering and construction management, most involving projects in the Marcellus area. Jim comes to Alliance with a track record of success, having managed millions of dollars of compression, pipeline and storage projects in the Marcellus region. Jim holds a Bachelors of Science in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
