Alliance Engineering Awarded Three Compressor Station Projects from Boardwalk Pipeline Partners

HOUSTON, August 24, 2009 – Alliance Wood Group Engineering (“Alliance”), part of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC (“Wood Group”), has been awarded three contracts from Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP (“Boardwalk” NYSE: BWP) to provide engineering and design, project management, and procurement services for three natural gas facility projects in Louisiana.

The Castor facility, located in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, will be a booster station for gas entering Boardwalk’s 20-inch and 24-inch interstate natural gas Gulf South Pipeline network. Castor will feature one CAT 3516 reciprocating engine driven Ariel compressor, providing approximately 3,000 HP.

Additionally, Alliance will design a grass roots facility north of the existing Hall Summit compressor station, located in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. This facility will feature one Titan 130 compressor and one Mars 100 compressor which will bring approximately 35,000 HP of compression to their Gulf South pipeline.

Alliance will also perform services for the horsepower addition at the existing Tallulah facility, located in Madison Parish, Louisiana, on Boardwalk’s Gulf South Pipeline. This features one Titan 130 compressor providing an additional 20,000 HP. The Tallulah expansion will add the ability for gas from Boardwalk’s Gulf Crossing Pipeline to be discharged into Gulf South Pipeline’s 42-inch, 242-mile East Texas pipeline expansion.
