Job Description

The offshore structural designer must have the ability to layout access platform, stairways, walkways, etc. and be capable of checking other designers work when called upon. In addition, they must have the ability to interact with the Client as well as provide support to the field with fabrication issues. It is required that they have a basic knowledge of schedules and budgets with the ability to organize the work load. They must also have the ability to mentor junior designers in structural design activities.

The successful candidate will be based at Alliance's Houston, Texas office.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience
• Very good capabilities in PDMS and AutoCAD
• Must be familiar with offshore standards and practices, including safety, in design requirements (Coast Guard, OSHA, etc.)
