Job Description

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for producing safe, technically accurate and cost effective electrical installation designs and deliverables for oil and gas production facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable specifications and standards, and completing work within project budget and schedule.

Duties will include some or all of the following:

• Technical execution of the engineering to properly size, specify, purchase and install a complete and operating electrical system that meets the Client requirements.
• Coordination of communications between the the project team, the engineering and design team members to assure quality of work, and that consistent technical content drawing/design packages are maintained throughout a project.
• Creation and management of the electrical scope of work for the project.
• Sizing of overall electrical system.
• Specification, selection and purchase of all Electrical equipment to meet the the performance requirements.
• Integrate packaged equipment into overall system design.
• Oversee development of detailed design drawings including one line diagrams, plans, details, wiring diagrams and fabrication drawings.
• Develop and maintain labor and material estimates for projects.
• Develop and maintain progress, schedule, staffing planning, and coordination with project  management including regular reporting.

The successful candidate(s) will be based out of Alliance's Houston, Texas office.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required
• 15+ years of experience required
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards applicable to the oil & gas industries (API, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, NEC/IEC, etc.) required
• Oil and Gas Industry experience required
• P.E. preferred
