Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of the Project by providing guidance and support to all aspects of project execution. The Project manager will ensure the project is staffed with qualified personnel necessary to perform the work within the budget and schedule of the project. The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the maintaining the project schedule while controlling project costs. The Project Manager will ensure that procedures developed for the project are followed and adhered to throughout the life of the project. Primary business and commercial interface with the client will be the responsibility of the Project Manager. The Project Manager will work out of Alliance's Houston, Texas office.
Primary Job Functions include:
- Interface with Client
- Review Project Contract
- Develop Project Execution Plan
- Establish Quality Plan
- Develop Project Schedule
- Establish Project Organization and staff accordingly
- Manage Scheduled project activities
- Monitor and control manhours and expenditures against Project Budget
- Report to Management Project status and significant project issues
- Manage assigned Proposal and Tenders
- Assist Business Unit and Marketing for Offshore articles and information
Qualifications
- College Education (Engineering Preferred) or PMP certified
- Minimum 15 years of experience.
- Project Manager on at least 1 Deepwater (>2000 feet) project and/or at least 1 FPSO project
- Project Manager or Engineer on at least 3 Offshore projects exceeding $5MM budget
