Location: Denver
This position is for midstream energy projects and requires a detailed-oriented Engineer with experience in the oil and gas industry. Must have the ability to perform engineering and design functions for typical and complex pipeline pumping and compressor stations, liquid and gas storage, and plant and metering facilities in accordance with ASME B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8 and DOT CFR 49 sections 192 and 195 codes. You should be a self-motivated individual with the capabilities and desire to work in a team environment.
Facility Engineer:
- Provide design, coordination, and execution of multiple engineering projects
- Work on projects from conceptual design through final design of pipeline-related facilities
- Perform hydraulic calculations for Gas and Liquids
- Develop Mechanical equipment specifications for pumps, compressors, separators, etc.
- Develop technical specifications for equipment and construction
- Assists in the development of Total Installed Cost estimates
- Develop material specifications, data sheets, and material lists
- Evaluate materials and construction bid packages
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning
Basic Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
- Must be willing to travel occasionally and have a valid driver's license
- Ability to learn, interpret and apply DOT, API, ANSI / ASME and owner regulations, codes and standards
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
Years of Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
